Melbourn Lodge

Introduction

Features include a drive, a lawn and various plants and shrubs.

Melbourn Lodge has a gravel drive, which encircles a central lawn. The garden has an extensive range of ground cover plants with shrubs designed and planted so that it can be maintained by the owner with only nine hours work each week during the season. The irregular site has provided many cross views, which have been planted with small collections of conifers, irises, clematis and old shrub roses.
History

This 1830 brick house stands within nearly one hectare of grounds laid out in 1968.
