An 1834 map by Cocket and Nash, Royston surveyors, shows watercourses, gates, garden and layout with two lawns to the south, a pond and an orchard. The present house has a walled garden with a central lawn surrounded by roses and a lawn with fruit trees enclosed by a fence.- Features
