Brief Description

Daldorch is situated within a bend of the River Ayr on the outskirts of Catrine. It is currently a school, with associated accommodation and recreational development in the grounds.

History

There was a building with a small amount of planting on the site in the mid-18th century. A new house named Catrinebank was built in the early-19th century as the dower house for Sorn Castle.
