Brief Description
Wollerton Old Hall has a plantsman's garden surrounding a 16th-century hall. The garden, designed by the present owners, features clipped yews, beech and limes creating a series of formal compartments.
History
Wollerton Old Hall dates from the mid-14th century. The site has been under continous redevelopment since 1984. In particular between 1986 and 1987, and from 1992 to 1996. In 2002 there was a new phase of development to the north of the site to counter the noise from the Hodnet bypass.
