Wisteston Court

Introduction

Wisteston Court was a 15th-century house remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries. The house was approached by an avenue of Sweet Chestnuts, and was set in fields planted with parkland trees. There was a kitchen garden south of the house. The house was demolished in the 20th century, but the avenue survives.
