Brief Description

The Fountain Garden is surrounded by a castellated yew hedge and contains geometrically arranged yew obelisks. The Formal Garden features pairs of pyramidal fruit trees lining the paths and a vine arch.

History

The Formal and Fountain Gardens at Powis Castle were created by Lady Powis in the early-20th century, partly on the site of an earlier kitchen garden.
