Introduction
Hollywood had a house with grounds to the west of Grenville Street and possibly sharing a view of a small park or lawned area with Lark Hill House, a neighbouring dwelling. This site was probably one of the new developments to this area of Stockport in the 19th century, when the existing agricultural land seems to have been divided into blocks for development. The site is now lost.
