Lichfield, England, Staffordshire, Lichfield

Brief Description

Freeford Hall is a grade II listed small country house, built in 1730 on the site of a medieval manor house. It is the home of the Dyott family who were prominent in public life in the city and county.

History

The hall sat in a small park with a pool which may have been the medieval mill pool. The house was extended and remodelled mid-19th century when a kitchen garden and ice house were built.
