Brief Description

Aylesbury Vale Park is a public park with a fitness centre and modern recreational facilities.

History

Previously used by atheletics and bicycle clubs, Vale Park became home to a cricket ground and pavillion in 1884.Plans for formalisation of the park were drawn by Thomas Hayton Mawson in the 1920s, though the final design was submitted by his son in 1933. This vision was considered too costly by the Borough Council and was subsequently reworked.
