
Introduction
The war memorial, listed Grade II, features the names of the fallen carved on a pillar, topped by a Celtic cross. The inscription on the base indicates that Robert B. Byass and Co. erected the memorial to commemorate their employees who gave their lives in World War 1. The site also contains a bandstand.
