Brief Description
The present designed landscape at Underwood was laid out from the late-18th century. It consisted of narrow belts of trees focused on the house and on the stream flowing through the property.
History
There is a reference to earlier planting including orchards, parkland and plantations at Underwood, but this had gone by the late-18th century. Further belts of trees had been planted by the mid-19th century.
