Brief Description

Penmaenuchaf has a well-preserved 19th-century terraced garden, with a later water garden and some good planting. There are woodland walks in the now wooded park, small enclosed gardens and a kitchen garden. The house is now a luxury hotel.

History

Penmaenuchaf is a small estate often used in the course of its history as a secondary residence. In the late-19th century the owner was a Mr Charles Reynolds Williams, whose main residence was at nearby Dolmelynllyn.
