Brief Description

There are lawns, flower beds, a bandstand and other amenity features. There is also a mature shelter belt and a small sunken garden. Additional land was added in around 1930.

History

The house was built in the early-19th century, and altered by James Buckley Wilson in the 1880s. The grounds were reformed in 1911-12 as a purpose-built municipal park, the gift (with the house) of Sir Stafford Howard to the people of Llanelli.
