Greenfield House

Introduction

Greenfield House stands in wooded grounds of about two hectares.

The house is approached by a track across the fields which lie between the site and Greenfield Lane, and is to the south of Greenfield Brook which runs through the site. The wooded area which surrounds the house is intersected by a number of paths which lead to Greenfield Farm and to the Greenfield Mills. It is possible that the house and the grounds were associated with these features.
