Brief Description

Urishay Castle was gradually converted into a house, with the motte becoming garden terraces. The moat remains, and there was a kitchen garden. The house is derelict.

History

The mediaeval castle was converted into a hall with cross-wings, and the motte terraced into gardens. The house was dismantled in 1921.
