Brief Description
The designed landscape at Treesbank on the outskirts of Kilmarnock largely retains its 18th- and 19th-century structure. The site is under pressure from industrial and housing development.
History
The designed landscape at Treesbank was probably laid out in the first half of the 18th century. The planting had expanded by the mid-19th century and included an avenue approach.
