Shirenewton Hall, Japanese Garden

Introduction

The Japanese Garden at Shirenewton Hall was created in a field to the south of the house in the early-20th century. It consists of a series of six ponds with cascades, linked by winding paths and bridges. The planting features a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs, and the garden contains several genuine Japanese structures and ornaments.
