Brief Description

The Gwyllt Garden lies on a wooded rocky peninsula. There are many paths with viewpoints throughout the garden.

History

The Gwyllt Garden was created in the mid-19th century and was originally associated with the mansion of Aber-Ia, now a hotel. Conifers were planted in the native oak woodland along with some rhododendrons. In the early-20th century a significant rhododendron collection was built up.
