Brief Description

On the peninsula there are woodland gardens with walks and a particularly noted collection of rhododendrons. The planting throughout the site includes many half-hardy and tender plants.

History

Portmeirion's well-preserved public and private gardens were designed in and around the village of Portmeirion by Clough Williams-Ellis, the architect of the village, between 1925 and 1970.
