Brief Description
Features of Pond Farm include a tree-lined moat, a lawn, a former pond and retaining walls.
History
Pond Farm was established in the early-16th century.
Detailed Description
The elevated lawn in front of the farm house is held by a brick retaining wall. Between this and an outer wall is a broad expanse of grass which runs into adjacent arable fields. In earlier times, this space was occupied by a range of farm buildings. The pond between the road and the outer wall has sadly disappeared.- Features
