Introduction
The Old House is a Grade 11 listed building with an 18th-century terraced garden.
The Old House at Freshford is Mid - C18th. It was remodelled and extended 1910 (datestone over door to left). Ashlar; Cotswold stone slate hipped roof behind parapet with panels, moulded cornice.
Built with 2 storeys and attics in hipped dormers and 9 bays. Glazing bar sash windows in moulded architraves; end pilasters and between 5th and 6th bay; moulded string course. A panelled door to the left in a setback 2 storey entrance porch; architrave with open pediment enclosing shield and date.
