Memorial Playing Field, North Petherton

Introduction

The Memorial Field was gifted to the people of North Petherton as a permanent playing field in commemoration of those local servicemen and women who lost their lives as a result of the Second World War and features a memorial stone.

During 2020, specific up-to-date play equipment for younger and older children, a multi-use games area, outdoor gym and fitness equipment, all linked by a perimeter track have been installed in the park.

Additional improvements have included landscaping, new trees and wildflower areas, with plenty of seating and picnic benches.
