Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Memorial Park has a squared stone archway with bronze gates, upon which memorial wreaths are hung at Remembrance Day. The arch and garden commemorate the dead of both World Wars.
The memorial garden was funded by public subscription and was opened on November 8th, 1924. In 2005 the park was restored and re-dedicated by the Duke of Kent.
