Extant features at the site include a kitchen garden and dovecote. The hall is now a residential/day special school administered by Staffordshire Education Committee.
Loxley Hall was built around 1800 on rising ground with extensive views. It appears to contain elements of an earlier house. It was possibly remodelled during the 19th century. The Hall was the home of the Sneyd-Kinnersley family.
