Lillingstone Hall has the remains of a homestead moat and fishponds within the grounds of a 17th-century hall.
In the 17th century the estate was home to many homesteads and yards. The hall itself was built from the materials of an older hall building, possibly 15th century, the site of which is marked by the moated structures and fishponds in the grounds of the newer hall.
