Durham Light Infantry World War 2 Garden of Remembrance

Introduction

This memorial garden features the Ypres rose, which was brought from a garden in Ypres and, after a number of moves, was planted at this site. Other features include benches with memorial plaques and a dedicatory stone. The garden is dedicated to those of the Regiment who fell in World War 2.
