Brief Description
Barr Beacon Park, one of the highest points in the West Midlands, has panoramic views over neighbouring counties, lowland heath and a nature trail. The war memorial is an observatory on the highest point of the park. The memorial is a roofed structure of Portland stone, approached by broad steps.
History
Barr Beacon Park was opened by Colonel J.H. Wilkinson at Easter 1919.
