Plas Gwyn

Introduction

Plas Gwyn comprises a mid-18th-century brick mansion and a contemporary walled garden whose walls and basic layout survive. A grass terrace by the house looks out over a circular lawn bordered by predominantly evergreen shrubbery. The wooded parkland probably dates from the 19th century. The site retains much of its original style and atmosphere.
