Pen-y-lan

Introduction

The landscape park at Pen-y-lan is set in the unspoilt scenery of the Dee valley and dates from the early-19th-century, with a further major phase of planting in the early-20th century. It is still managed as a park. There are early-19th-century formal and informal garden areas around the house.
