Leeds Castle, Vineyard 3661

Brief Description

A vineyard was first recorded here in the Domesday Book. It lay unused for 500 years but is now once again in wine production.

There is no first created date known on record, although as the vineyard is mentioned in the Domesday Book, the latest date for its creation would be 1086, when the first draft of the book was completed.
