Leeds Castle, Aviary

Introduction

A memorial aviary dedicated to Lady Baillie, a keen amateur ornithologist and former owner of Leeds Castle, whose particular interest was Australian finches and parakeets. The aviary was opened in 1988 and houses over 100 species of rare and endangered birds.
