Doddington Place, Spring Garden

Introduction

The spring garden and walk features magnolia, malus and betula with under- planting of tulips. Sorbus aucuparia beissnerii were planted as part of a reconstruction programme after the 1987 hurricane, but are being replaced with Betula utilis jacquemontii 'Grayswood Ghost'. The garden features a folly built in 1997 by G. L. Streeting.
