Brief Description
Doddershall House is a large moated park set around a 16th-century manor house. Evidence of extensive fishponds and other water features remains, as well as an avenue of lime trees.Earthworks marking the site of a medieval village can be seen in the grounds.
History
The manor house was built in the 1520s by Elizabeth Iwardby and was later altered in the 17th century by Christopher Piggot.
