Brief Description
The site contains the grounds of an early-17th-century manor house which was greatly altered in the mid-1950s. A swimming pool pavillion, portico and gateway also date from this time.
History
The manor house was built in the 17th century and was enlarged in 1740-1743.The whole site was Georgianized in 1954-1955 which included the building of a swimming pool pavillion, gateway, and installation of a portico which was formerly the library window.
