Brief Description
Wrythe Recreation Ground is open grassland surrounded by numerous mature trees with other trees in the more open areas. In the eastern part is a World War 2 air raid shelter.
History
The 1st edition Ordnance Survey map of 1867 shows open land of the same shape as the park today.
