Introduction
Victoria Park is a late 19th century public park opened in 1900 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Features include shrubberies, display glasshouses, carpet bedding, a war memorial, tennis courts, bowling greens and a new bandstand replacing the original.
