Introduction
Thie Gretch is a long plot of 1 acre falling south-west down to a stream. There is a lawn surrounded by ornamental trees and shrubs, with many rare plantings. Several were propagated from seeds from collecting expeditions or seed exchanges. The garden has occasional charity open days.
