Brief Description

Saltmarshe Castle was built in 1846 in an asymmetrical castellated style. W.A. Nesfield laid out a terraced garden next to the house, overlooking an extensive park to the south. The house was demolished in the 1950s.

History

The house was built in 1846 on the site of an earlier house. The garden was laid out in the mid-19th century.
