Lower Dyffryn

Introduction

Lower Dyffryn has the structural remains of a late-16th-century walled and terraced garden. In one of the walls there is an alcove with a window looking outwards to the remains of fishponds dating from at least the 16th century. There was also a seat around the alcove from which to look into the garden.
