Brief Description
Knockdaw Castle no longer stands and nothing remains of the once sizeable area of enclosed woodland associated with the castle in the 17th century.
History
The wooded enclosure associated with the early castle had disappeared from maps dating from the latter half of the 18th century. In the mid-19th century there were a few surviving fragments of woodland.
