Gwydir Castle

Gwydir has the remains of a 16th-century garden, including walls and gateways, linked to a contemporary unit-system house known as Gwydir Castle. The pleasure grounds have a terrace and a yew avenue, as well as more informal planting mostly dating from the 19th century. There are further gardens associated with Gwydir Uchaf, originally built as a summer house in the early-17th century. These include a viewing mount and a bowling green.
