Brief Description
The mid-19th-century house is set in a block of policy woodland with sweeping drives from two directions.
History
The 15th-century Giffin Castle was abandoned in the 18th century. The ruins collapsed in the mid-19th century. A new house was built nearby in the 1860s and a designed landscape laid out.
