Brief Description
Drumlamford House is situated on the western shore of Loch Dornal. It is part of a large estate with three lochs. Most of the landscaping dates from the 19th century.
History
There was a house in a small enclosure at Drumlamford by the mid-18th century, but the main planting was associated with the new house that was built in about 1830. The family moved to nearby Corwar House in 1838. The estate currently lets out various cottages for self-catering (2011).
