Introduction

Ashe Ingen is a house of mediaeval origin. In the early 20th century it was set in mature pleasure grounds with a kitchen garden. The adjacent property of Wyeville, known as Wye Lea since the early 20th century, was built around 1870 in a park-like setting overlooking the River Wye.
