George Phillips Manners

George Phillips Manners, architect, was a prolific designer of buildings who worked as the City Architect of Bath between 1823 and 1862. Manners was also, for a short time, in partnership with Charles Harcourt Master. Despite a large number of commissions, which included a number of alterations to churches in the perpendicular style, Manners did not design any buildings of distinction. He died on the 28th November 1866 in Surrey.
