Charles Harcourt Masters

Charles Harcourt Masters, architect, was an architect and surveyor in Bath who was born in 1759. Masters worked mainly as a surveyor although he designed and built Sydney Hotel, Bath, which was located in close proximity to Sydney Gardens. The gardens were also created by Masters between 1796-7. Other commissions also included laying out the park around Dyrham Park, Gloucestershire, a late-17th century mansion.
