Brief Description

Wormsley Grange is a house of about 1740. It was the birthplace of the landscape theorist Richard Payne Knight and his brother, the horticulturist and fruit breeder Thomas Andrew Knight, who established experimental orchards here.

History

The house was built around 1740. The Knight brothers were born in the house. Thomas Andrew Knight's experimental fruit plantations were cultuvated here.
