Brief Description
Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery is the central feature of these gardens. There are also two war memorials, commemorating the fallen of both World Wars.
History
Manufacturer John Nairn gifted the gardens, museum and war memorial as an integrated whole to commemorate the death of his son who died in fighting on the western front. The war memorial was built in 1923 and unveiled in 1925. A memorial to those lost in World War 2 was unveiled in 1958.
