Brief Description

Thornton Memorial Park has three football pitches, a sensory garden and a pavilion. It commemorates the dead of both World Wars. There are memorial gates with commemorative tablets on the gate piers.

The site was unveiled on September 25th, 1921, by Sir Ralph Anstruther.
