Tynan Abbey

Introduction

An extensive demesne, with a house of about 1750 now a ruin. There are terraces at house with a yew-edged box parterre, fine mature parkland, woodland, exotic and shelter belt trees. Other features include a Lime walk, the 'Abbot's Walk', three stone crosses and a lake.
